WATER PLUG ZT - 106F (2 kgs)
A 'Water Plug' is exactly what the name says it is - used to 'Plug' or close and seal any leak, crack in a structure, or simply an unexpected leak in your pond. Water Plug ZT - 106F dries hard in about 4 - 8 minutes with excellent adhesive properties and impermeability - the leak has been plugged!!
Surface Preparation
The surface on which Water Plug ZT 106F is to be used must be thoroughly cleaned. Ideally, if the area to be plugged can be chiseled exposing clean mortar and concrete, in case of a crack, a 'V' channel should be made using a grinder with a concrete cutting wheel. Once prepared, wash down the area with water, to remove any dust or loose debris.
Preparing Water Plug ZT - 106F for Application
Water Plug ZT - 106F is prepared by mixing with clean water. The 'Mixing Ratio' of Water Plug to Water is 1 : 0.3 - 0.35;
This ratio is interpreted as, for example
100 grams Water Plug to 30-35 millilitres Water
Mix Water Plug with clean water to a consistency similar to tile grout. Ensure the mixing is done as fast as possible and used immediately, if not, it will harden in about 4-8 minutes and will be of no use. Mix only small quantities to avoid unnecessary wastage.
Even though Water Plug hardens in about 4-8 minutes, it needs about 2-3 days to fully cure. During the curing period period, ensure that the Water Plug applications are kept constantly moist by draping a wet cloth over and in contact with the Water Plug surfaces.
